"Welcoming the I-Thou" Workshops
DETAILS:
Tease out where you are stuck in your relationships with your life, yourself, important others, your Soul's path (which should be the same thing as your "work"!). Get some support to turn over the rocks and look deeper.
Each workshop uses tools from Kundalini Yoga and Gestalt Psychotherapy to explore a particular philosophical theory or topic (see below for previous subjects covered).
FUTURE DATES ARE:
3/10/20, 5/12/20
INVESTMENT:
What you pay can be on a sliding scale so you can choose what feels most comfortable for you to invest for yourSelf. When you commit to this work what you give is said to return to you tenfold! As, in Kundalini numerology, the number 9 is the highest digit (of the 9 numbers) and from it blessings can descend and by meditating on your higher consciousness treasures of virtues come into your life, let's have your investment add up to "9"! So you can pay: £126, £108, £90, £72, £63…£9!!!
If you can commit to pay more it will mean that those who are really struggling could come for less!

They are suitable for anyone with an interest in personal development and transformation on an individual, community, generational, planetary or cosmic level!
Kundalini Yogis will benefit from having somewhere to explore what we are learning from practicing Yogi Bhajan's teachings in a supportive group setting - as we all experience times in our practice that call us to start dialoguing with our "Shadow side". I, personally, have found it insufficient to say to students (and myself!) to continue your practice and know you'll come through anything that is rising for transformation. Let's come together to normalise what we are experiencing and equip our "toolbox" as best we can!
My experience with training as a Gestalt Psychotherapist, alongside the yoga training, showed me the kind of internal and external support that is possible (and perhaps necessary) through dialogue and sharing with others, when going into this deep, transformational work.
Counsellors, Psychotherapists and trainees will also benefit from these workshops. You will learn yogic breathing and exercise techniques that will support your own personal health (and everyone in this business needs support to move and breath deeply after all the sitting with clients as well as learning how avoid the "quick fixes" and look after our own health and wellbeing!).
These workshops are also suitable for anyone who is a complete beginner to either yoga or counselling and just knows they need support on their journey.
"It may not always be perfect but we will work on it Side-by-Side”. We will create a “brave space” in which we all bring courage and willingness to evoke long-lasting change in our lives. (credit: Mickey ScottBey Jones)Past topics have included "The Three Minds and their Interplay in Managing Stress", "Living to Die Well" and "Warrior-ship: Lining up Divinely".
TOPICS:
The topic for the next workshop on 3rd October is "Maintaining Elemental Equilibrium".
The 5 elements or Tattvas (Earth, Water…) each endow the body with a vital element that it can't do without. if unexamined we can wallow in the most base condition of each tattoo. Meditation can lead to them being experienced in their highest forms.
We will also do plenty of supportive group work and yoga to provide a space where you can work with your elemental balance so that these "drivers" are pushing you towards self-actualisation rather than consuming you!

TESTIMONIALS:
"I really enjoyed it as a whole."
"What I took away: I felt like hovering and was reticent to meet the outside world. It was like 3 yoga classes together. I felt calm, safe, open and strong. "
"I really enjoyed the workshop. It was lovely to see and catch up with new and old faces. I find the psychotherapy parts very beneficial and when we got together in groups with a psychotherapist it adds and explains a lot more."
"I particularly enjoyed my unusual ease at talking in front of so many new people about personal issues and childhood. And how calm I felt doing it. It's very important for me to have a voice and speak clearly, calmly and slowly. I certainly surprised myself and felt so good about it. This seems simple but has so much to do with my personal process and growth at the moment."
"The energy Nam Prakash brought to the day was both calming and playful. I found the mix skilfully balanced, plenty of historical information on yoga that I enjoyed and as usual a very in depth and expertly delivered breakdown on the benefits of yoga on the whole organism.
I felt a sense of renewed balance and calm. I also felt intrigued and found myself yet again thumbing over the thought and felt sense that yoga has a lot to offer both me and my clients."
"I liked the proportion of yoga and psychotherapy, especially finishing with the Gong Bath."
